In early 2022, Cycle with Jan co-ordinated a team of qualified mechanics, Bikeability instructors and Cycling UK funding to set up the Cycle Hub in partnership with the local community at Hirst Park in Ashington. The hub comprises of a bike servicing, repair and recycling workshop, learn to ride, learn to fix and with led bike rides and supports local people to cycle safely, confidently on roadworthy bikes.
